As a (Graduate) Data Scientist Intern, the world is yours at AirFrance KLM Martinair Cargo. Not only do you work with state-of-the-art predictive models and large amounts of data, you will also impact the Cargo business as we know it today by identifying and creating opportunities for our commercial organization through supportive data insights. Furthermore, you will gain substantive knowledge about the airline and cargo industry by being in contact with colleagues from different departments!

What will you do?

You will be creating advanced customer insights to contribute to innovative performance steering in order to outperform the commercial targets. The tools and models that you create will assist Sales, Customer Service, and Business Development. In the Business Development team (your future team), we initiate and implement a wide range of data projects, all supporting the Benelux Cargo market and beyond!

You will be involved in a project to forecast our market demand. With this advanced project, the goal is to create a model to generate leads for our Sales colleagues. Together with the team, you will formulate the exact (research) questions based on the company's needs and your interests, strengths and ambitions!

The cargo Benelux Business development team is a young and ambitious team of around 6 Business Development analysts and Data Analysts. We work together towards one common goal: Maximizing the Benelux results through a data driven and proactive commercial approach. To accomplish this, you will work with a huge amount of data in close cooperation with the other teams in our department, like sales, pricing & revenue management and the global data team. Currently, we alternate working from home with working at the office at Schiphol.
