Is your passion for denim as high as ours? In this internship, you will learn all the ins and outs of being part of the PR team of a leading denim brand.

Just imagine –

The G-STAR PR Department is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern with a hands-on mentality, who feels at home in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. As part of the global marketing department, the PR Team is responsible for all the global PR and Influencer Marketing and we work closely together with the G-STAR social media and brand activation team. During this internship you will contribute to the overall PR strategy by supporting the PR and Influencer Specialists on various tasks.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As our new Intern, your main tasks will be to support the PR team on:

  • Daily contact with our global PR agencies, to make sure they receive all PR tools like press releases and samples in time
  • Partially responsible for the PR back-planning to make sure all PR kits are ready
  • Reporting – track and report on PR and influencer results on a weekly basis
  • Manage sample send outs and returns
  • Monitor and scan coverage, and compile coverage reports
  • Assist with key launches throughout the year through asset gathering, gifting programs and events
  • Book local and international couriers to fulfil sample requests across multiple markets
  • Build and maintain PR tools (image galleries, databases, mailers etc.)
  • Develop close relationships with all relevant internal teams (Social team, marketing operations etc.)
  • Manage publication subscriptions and ensure the magazine library is properly archived
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends & industry news

Support the team in all day-to-day activity.

HERE'S WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • You are creative, digital and social minded with high affinity for fashion and denim.
  • You have a vast knowledge of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.
  • You have a high interest and willingness to explore AI in this field.
  • You pay attention to detail, are organized and good at planning.
  • You have the ability to multi-task and execute.
  • You have advanced level of proficiency of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor/Master program in Communication/Marketing.
  • You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands or EU, during the whole length of the internship. Unfortunately, we cannot provide immigration support for internships at this time.
  • If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.
  • You are already living in the Netherlands and are in the possession of a BSN, or in a process of getting one.
  • Full time availability (40h a week) with a starting date in January 2025.

Finally, do you have an autonomous and independent working attitude? Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English? We’d love to meet you!
