Here’s what we’ll do together:

Is your passion for denim as high as ours? In this internship, you will learn how to ensure that the G-STAR is on-brand and optimized for all global distribution channels. As our new Intern Merchandising, you’ll help with a varied range of tasks to gain a solid understanding of the merchandising function.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

Some of your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Conducting competitor analyses,
  • Reviewing Sell-In and Sell-Out data,
  • Supporting the team during Product Milestones (e.g. Sample Reviews, Go-To-Market presentations),
  • Keeping track of Product Calendar,
  • Helping the team with planning for a season and maintaining a good balance in the collection through the collection development process,
  • Keeping track on market developments,
  • Assisting on day-to-day tasks.

Here's what you bring to the table:

  • You have a passion for building the most relevant collections that resonate with the global consumers of a brand.
  • Fashion? You live and breathe it!
  • You have strong data numeracy and have first skills in Excel.
  • You are willing to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
  • You have a high interest and willingness to explore AI in this field.
  • You are doing a Bachelor/Master in a Fashion Management/ Business Administration or related education.
  • You understand the fashion industry and are able to help with competitor research.
  • You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in February 2025.
  • You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands or EU, during the whole length of the internship. Unfortunately, we cannot provide immigration support for internships at this time.
  • If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.
  • You are already living in the Netherlands and are in the possession of a BSN, or in a process of getting one.

Finally, do you have strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English? Then we’d love to meet you!
