Just imagine –

As our new Purchasing & Planning Intern, you will be helping the purchase team to procure the G-STAR materials and products within the correct deadlines to ensure ready products will arrive on time at G-STAR stores and customers worldwide.

During this internship you get a varied range of tasks to gain a solid understanding of the purchase & planning function. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate purchase information is available to make sure the purchase operations run smoothly. Together with the purchase team and our vendors worldwide you will optimize the procurement planning to achieve a consistently strong delivery performance.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Place purchase orders via the SAP system.
  • ​Book raw materials with the nominated suppliers.
  • Analyze the delivery performance.
  • Monitor raw materials stock levels and avoid unnecessary build up.

What you bring to the table:

  • A keen Interest in supply chain and numbers.
  • SAP? Excel? Keen to learn or already know it.
  • You are proactive, eager to learn, reliable and precise.
  • Deadlines? You can manage these!
  • Supplier management you want to learn.
  • You have a high interest and willingness to explore AI in this field.
  • You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in February 2025.
  • You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands or EU, during the whole length of the internship. Unfortunately, we cannot provide immigration support for internships at this time.
  • If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.
  • You are already living in the Netherlands and are in the possession of a BSN, or in a process of getting one.
  • Fashion? You live and breathe it!
  • Add a Bachelor/Master and and you’ve got our full attention.

Finally, do you have strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English? We’d love to meet you!
