Senior Data & BI Analyst Role

The Senior Data & BI Analyst will report to the Head of Data & AI in the Operations & IT department of EET. This role is linked to business features in the Business Change Management (BCM) process at EET and works in close cooperation with the EET Data Operations Specialist. Furthermore, the Senior Data & BI Analyst collaborates with EET business teams to gather the business and IT data & dashboard requirements, working together with business/IT teams to build, maintain, and enhance dashboards.

Do you have extensive experience as a Data & BI Analyst and want to join a dynamic and innovative organization? You will be instrumental in developing intuitive dashboards that provide key insights across the organization. Leveraging advanced business intelligence tools such as Power BI or similar, you will assist in designing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards that track critical performance metrics and energy market trends, ensuring stakeholders have easy access to actionable data. You will play a key role in establishing the process for dashboard governance by implementing a DevOps way of working to capture, refine, and prioritize business requests for building and enhancing dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing the EET dashboarding program and governance strategy to improve dashboard reliability and insights.
• Ensuring dashboarding solutions align with data governance and security frameworks.
• Engaging with architects and specialists to meet current and future dashboarding needs.
• Working with business and IT teams in dashboard design, build, and maintenance.
• Implementing DevOps for managing business requests for dashboards.
• Establishing a dashboard governance framework for reliable data pipelines.
• Building a dashboarding community to enhance tool knowledge and best practices.
• Creating a dashboarding vision and roadmap for empowering business teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in Data & BI analytics.
• University degree in a STEM-related field (e.g., computer science, information technology).
• Solid experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI, Grafana, etc.
• Understanding of data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake) and ETL/ELT processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English. Dutch is a plus.
• Possess a customer-friendly disposition and proactive personality.
• Keen interest in new technologies, methodologies, and concepts in data and dashboarding.
