The Rookie Program

Start date: 1st of February ‘25 until 30th of June ‘25

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for an internship, you must be:

• Enrolled in a Dutch University (not on-line) in a Bachelor or a Master for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months)
• Be an EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands (Internship should be then a mandatory part of your curriculum)

As an Under Armour intern, you'll have the opportunity to play a crucial role in bringing our mission and vision to life through a hands-on project that challenges you to develop new skills and push boundaries. This strategic project will test your skills and help you challenge the status quo, making a real business impact during your 5-month internship.

Alongside this project, you'll work closely with a mentor and cross-functional teams, gaining valuable global exposure and collaborating with talented professionals from across the company. With access to executive Q&A sessions and personalized guidance from our talent advisors, you'll be well-equipped to tackle any challenge that comes your way.

Our internship program is designed to provide a holistic understanding of the Under Armour brand. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Teammate Resource Groups, where you can share experiences, build relationships, and grow as a team. You will also step inside the exciting world of retail and explore the fast-paced environment that keeps our customers coming back for more.

Purpose of Role

The successful candidate of this Rookie program will join the EMEA Finance Accounting team to take part in several projects which will help UA further professionalize reporting processes and strengthen adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

One of the highly anticipated projects for improvement relates to the statutory compliance process. This project will help with improving and streamlining the audit and accounts preparation processes – utilizing our new third-party platform. The project will involve the set-up of new processes to more efficiently manage and receive audit and accounts preparation requests and assist with the statutory process for the upcoming fiscal year. The process requires collaboration with other departments and external providers.

Additionally, the Rookie will have a chance to support EMEA Accounting during the month-end close, assisting with the timely and accurate processing of journals.

Your Impact

From a technical accounting and stakeholder management perspective, this process offers a broad spectrum of improvement pillars, which is an opportunity for the Rookie intern to scale accounting expertise to a new level.
