What you'll be doing

Main Work

As Area Sales Manager Coatings for Holland Colours, you'll be hunting new opportunities in the Benelux, UK and Ireland in the coatings market. With a 'hunter mentality,' you'll navigate building prospects into long-term partners. Your industry knowledge will be key in introducing our innovative solutions to new clients. With your expertise, you’ll be initiating new product introductions and guiding customers through the sales journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Acquire new leads and turn them into customers;

Develop and maintain a strong network with customers and potential customers;

Initiate technical work for product approvals;

  • Co-ordinate pricing, risk management, overdues, complaint handling;
  • Maintain CRM system with customer communications, visit reports, sales funnel data and sales opportunities.

In this pivotal role as Area Sales Manager Coatings at Holland Colours, collaboration is key. You'll be joining forces with our technical team, a group of colorant experts and innovators who understand the intricacies of coatings down to the molecular level. With their expertise at your disposal, you'll have the tools and resources needed to turn visionary ideas into market growth. This is what you’ll need to bring:

1-3 years of sales experience with a focus on B2B transactions;

A profound understanding of market trends in the coatings industry;

A true sales hunter mentality to hunt new prospects on a daily basis;

Willingness to travel upto 50% to engage with clients and stakeholders. This position is based in Apeldoorn and you will need to travel to clients in Benelux, UK and Ireland on a regular basis.
