Project Engineer

Based on the focus on IPS projects, you ensure the correct realization of a project. Technology, documentation, reporting, financial results, and delivery times must be realized in close consultation with the customer.

Job description

• Participation Sales team during completion / finalization of the assignment and order intake Engineering.
• Realization of detailed design schemes for both E and W and execution of necessary technical calculations.
• Assessing or determining component requirements such as chemical resistance, pressure and temperature.
• Controlling, directing or correcting project work carried out by purchasing, engineering assistants, production and service, whereby the quality responsibility lies with the relevant department.
• Timely provision of project information to fellow engineers, engineering assistants, purchasing, production and service.
• Taking care of (in/external) project documentation such as manuals and spares lists.
• Timely signaling and passing on payment milestones to Invoicing (cash flow management).
• Early identification of additional work with substantiation, so that this can be realized with the approval of the customer or used as part of the budget (additional PO).
• Monitor project progress and prepare progress reports
• Proactively indicate which personnel capacity is required with regard to the drawing, production and service activities
• Organizing review meetings for realization of milestones, transfer moments and/or implementation of improvements.
• Assessing the applicability of offered ATEX and IECEx parts.
• Checking supplied ATEX and IECEx documentation for currentness.
• Organizing and supervising customer inspections (FAT).

Requirements

• HBO/WO technical direction (such as E, W, Process Technology).
• Knowledge of the market and applied techniques.
• Engineering within oil, gas and process.
• Dutch, English and preferably also German.
• Has knowledge regarding ATEX and IECEx.
• Didactic and coordinating skills.
