For our Tech-Department in Doetinchem we are currently looking for a skilled Software Engineer to take our internal software to the next level.

As a Software Engineer PHP/Laravel, your primary goal will be to develop, maintain, and enhance our internal software applications. You will work within a dynamic team of nine developers, creating innovative solutions that support our business processes. Your expertise in web development and deep knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework will be crucial in achieving these goals.

Your responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel;
• Maintain and optimize existing applications to improve performance and security;
• Work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and product managers;
• Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to overcome technical challenges;
• Test and debug software;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices;
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the team;
• Implement security measures in software development to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience as a web developer with a focus on PHP and Laravel;
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus;
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git;
• Familiarity with SQL and databases such as MySQL;
• Knowledge of AI is a plus;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
