Vacancy Availability

Many positions at AFAS are continuously available. You can start on the first day of each month with a Traineeship, unless specified otherwise in the vacancy. Other vacancies remain open until filled.

Contract Outlook

Indeed, you receive a one-month trial period followed by a one-year contract. If we are still happy together afterward, we will convert your contract to a permanent position. We value clarity and trust.

Internship Opportunities

Yes, AFAS offers many opportunities for final projects. Unfortunately, an active internship is not possible.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our guiding principle is to engage in employee, environmental, and societal responsibility in our daily business operations. You can see this in various aspects such as our dealings with suppliers, our vehicle fleet, a responsible pension, waste production, our clubhouse, and local sponsorship. Facilities at AFAS

Since 2020, we've been working in a brand new office, which we call our clubhouse. We host numerous fun events like the Friday afternoon drinks, monthly office day (when all colleagues are in the office), and various outings such as the 'do-good' outing and inspiration days. We also place importance on vitality, offering a gym, sports field, and bootcamp & yoga classes. During breaks, employees can enjoy table tennis, table football, or relax in a meditation room. Additionally, AFAS regularly organizes sessions addressing serious topics like stress, work-life balance, healthy living, and sleeping. In 2018, 2022, & 2024 all our colleagues participated in a resuscitation course.

Traineeships

Traineeship Eligibility

You are always welcome to apply! The traineeship is designed as an entry-level position or for individuals with a few years of work experience. Note that the associated terms are set at entry-level. Sometimes an accelerated version is available, which may be more interesting for you!

Start Dates for Traineeships

The traineeship starts the first week of every month. Together, we'll determine your final start date.

Language Requirements

You need at least B2/C1 level in Dutch.

Consultancy Traineeship Requirements

To start this traineeship, you must have completed an HBO diploma, but the field of study is not critical!

Customer Support Traineeship Requirements

For this traineeship, you must have either an HBO diploma or an MBO diploma with relevant study or work experience.

Traineeship and Studies

It is not possible to pursue the traineeship alongside your studies. The Traineeship demands 40 hours per week, allowing you to gain the required experience. We recommend not studying alongside it; however, you are welcome to apply after completing your studies!

Post-Traineeship Study

This is not possible. After the Traineeship, you directly start in your role where you learn everything needed to perform well!

Work from Home

This is flexible, but we expect you in the office at least 3 times a week. This is, of course, coordinated with your team and depends on your role. When you first join AFAS, you'll spend more time in the office to get to know your colleagues. It's important for us to keep connected, especially at the beginning. All your courses are also held at our beautiful building.

Consultancy Traineeship Structure

The Traineeship consists of 8 phases over approximately 2 years. On average, you'll have one development day per week and spend 4 days addressing customer software queries on our Support team. On your development day, you will follow various components per phase, including content courses, soft skills training, or independent case studies to complete each phase.

Success Management Traineeship Application

We do not recruit for the Success Management traineeship internally as this would not be fair to our clients. The recruitment process in this case is only conducted if it is in good consultation with your current employer who has funded the traineeship. Depending on this, you can start the recruitment process.
