Join us as an Ecosystem Manager at Barclays, where you’ll be primarily responsible for identifying high-growth businesses to attract to Barclays Propositions and Banking services and managing partner relationships.

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful as an Ecosystem Manager, you should have experience with:

  • Previous Business Development experience
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Previous experience in running, planning, and organising events
  • Business Banking knowledge
  • Networking experience
  • Flexibility with the ability to travel

Purpose of the Role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities

  • Management of client relationships to identify clients' financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support data analysis.
  • Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms.
  • Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice and risk management strategies.
  • Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implementation of measures to minimise potential losses.
  • Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability.
  • Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.

Assistant Vice President Expectations

  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
  • Perform work closely related to other areas, requiring understanding of how areas coordinate to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with other areas for business-aligned support to keep up with business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Communicate complex information, which could include sensitive or difficult-to-communicate content.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
