Your Role: Senior Engineer Mechanical

As a Senior Engineer Mechanical, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of mechanical systems for our vessels. This is the perfect role for individuals who are looking to broaden their horizons and gain comprehensive experience in the mechanical aspects of ship design. The Senior Engineer role also serves as a stepping stone for advancement within our organization, with opportunities to progress into roles such as (Senior) Lead Engineer, offering further career development and leadership opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

• Designing and optimizing mechanical systems for our vessels, ensuring compliance with industrial standards and classification requirements.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Monitoring engineering progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Supporting the client, class, and national authorities' approval process.
• Ensuring appropriate quality of engineering work within one or more projects at a technical level.

Skills & Experience

Quality consciousness and a practical approach is in your blood. You are proactive, creative and working accurately. In addition, you meet the following features:

• Bachelor's degree in the field of Mechanical (Maritime) Engineering;
• An interest in innovation and an open mindset to new technologies;
• You enjoy working in a team, are effective at planning and organizing, willing to learn new skills sets, and you are results-focused;
• Good communication skills;
• Availability of 32-40 hours per week.
