Summer Intern Air Information Management & Technology

BAE Systems offers a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. However, during the Summer Intern program, you will be required to attend the site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may change based on business needs. The specific days for on-site and remote work will be outlined by your line manager.

What you will be doing

Working in Information Management and Technology enables you to take up a variety of roles to ensure that we deliver the right products at the right time and cost with the required quality. The IM&T function exists to enhance BAE Systems' market-leading edge, deliver operational excellence, and accelerate innovation. Our mission is to provide a world-class IM&T experience through innovative business and customer engagement. Our technology touches every corner of the business—from engineering design tools to manufacturing systems, and from finance and procurement systems to data analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Helping to project manage IM&T projects delivering capability to the business and our customers
• Developing data solutions to enhance business understanding and performance
• Maintaining and improving design, business, and manufacturing systems used to develop our pioneering products
• Working with our in-house customers to understand and shape their requirements for IT systems
• Supplier Visit
• Data Analytics

Skills

Qualification Requirements: As a minimum, you need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. All subjects are considered. You must be returning to university to complete your degree.
