Business Controller

We are looking for an enthusiastic business controller to join the Business Control team of Exact. In this role, you will work closely with all the members of a team of 10, reporting to the Director Business Control. You will be responsible for preparing insightful monthly updates for both revenues and costs under the supervision of Senior Business Controllers and assist, including modeling and slide preparations, in periodic forecasts and multi-year budgeting. You will also support the team in specific (ad hoc) projects and business cases.

Your focus in the job will be on:

• Preparing monthly reporting for the Executive Committee;
• Preparing modeling and supporting presentations for yearly budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year strategic & financial business plan;
• Challenging your colleagues in Business Control – bring a fresh perspective
• Ad-hoc financial and strategic analysis

This = what you bring

• A smart and eager professional with an academic background, preferably with a University degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or related;
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience, preferably in a Business Control role;
• Used to a data-driven environment with experience in Excel, Data warehouse, and business intelligence tools;
• Analytical, curious, eager, result-driven, and well-organized;
• A strong personality, team-player, and with a to-do mentality

If we have enough in common, there will first be a telephone intake with the recruiter. The second step is an interview with the hiring manager and one of your future colleagues and another interview with senior management for which you will be working. A test will be part of the selection process. The selection procedure will take up around 2 weeks since we would be delighted to welcome you to the team as soon as possible.
