Internship | UX Researcher

Join us as a UX Researcher Intern at Vopak! The UX team collects and interprets user insights to design an optimal user experience for Vopak's digital products. Consider the different applications required to operate a terminal.

This is a graduation internship.

What will you do as a UX Researcher Intern?

During your internship at Vopak, you will be part of the UX team. A team of several UX designers and UX developers. You will work on all applications for which the Global IT department is responsible, with an emphasis on quantitative user insights. Through the guidance of our experienced UX designers, we will work towards independently carrying out research work during the course of the internship, with which you will actually contribute to improving our digital solutions.

• In this position, you will work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our head office in Rotterdam and partly from home.

What do we expect from you as a UX Researcher Intern?

• You are currently enrolled in a college (HBO) education program in Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD) or a related field, and at the end phase of your studies.
• You are currently enrolled in a Dutch university and remain enrolled till the end of your internship period.
• You are available part- or full-time for at least 4 months.
• You have strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• You have affinity with websites, analytics, and social media. An eye for designs is a plus.
• You are passionate about using analytical tools for quantitative and qualitative research.
• You are a people person who enjoys being involved with multiple projects with various stakeholders.
• Good academic records.

What are the responsibilities?

• Thinking along with the UX specialists about the design of both quantitative and qualitative studies.
• Support in the preparation of studies: setting up test scripts and questionnaires.
• Carrying out (remote) investigations: interviewing and/or observing.
• Analyzing and reporting insights and contributing to the solution process.
