Procurement Internships

Location: Amsterdam, Coty HQ

At Coty, we are looking for ambitious Procurement Interns with a hands-on mentality. As a Procurement Intern, you will be working with our Direct Procurement teams based in our Headquarters office in Amsterdam-Zuid, the Netherlands. This internship will start in September 2024.

About Procurement In Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam HQ organization houses Global Direct Category teams (responsible for Packaging, Raw Materials, and External manufacturing) and Global Indirect Category and EMEA Procurement teams (responsible for Media, Digital, Marketing, Business Services, and Logistics). We are a diverse team of many nationalities and backgrounds with a passion for people development, driving our Coty transformation journey. The teams identify improvements/projects and roll these out to provide added value, service, and necessary funds for reinvestment back into the business to drive the top line of our beautiful brands.

What can we offer?

In the sub-function of Direct Procurement, we offer internship roles in the business areas of Glass, Raw Materials, and Secondary packaging. The areas of responsibilities are:

  • Spend data gathering and analysis to support the category buyers
  • RFI/RFP support and lead
  • Support on our sustainability agenda
  • Support on various transformation projects
  • Day-to-day management of suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Student (last year of Bachelor/Master), it is important you remain enrolled with your university for the whole duration of the internship
  • First experience in Procurement / SC preferred
  • Passion for beauty and our brands, strong affinity with dynamic environment
  • Analytical, good with numbers, and strong Excel skills
  • Does not shy away from responsibilities and is happy to provide added value
  • Proactive and hands-on
  • Flexible and loves challenges
  • Good administrative & communication skills and likes to work in a team
  • Fluent in English

Period:
This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 5-6 months and starts from August/September 2024. Remote working is possible up to 50% of your time, in alignment with your line manager. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis, but be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
