Marketing Internship

Job description

We are seeking a ambitious and enthusiastic intern who is fluent in English and either Dutch or German to join our Marketing team. As our Marketing Intern, you will play an important role in supporting our marketing initiatives. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in marketing design, event organisation, and copywriting skills. It will be a challenging ride with a great deal of responsibility, that gears you up to any commercial job within a highly paced scale-up environment!

At Solar monkey we love making an impact by accelerating the transition to solar energy. We do this by giving solar installers super powers with our innovative software. This allows them to work much more effectively and install even more solar installations. With our software installers can easily design, sell and maintain solar power systems remotely. We are active in 3 countries and are about to expand our horizon internationally. We have seen the Dutch market grow x5 within 5 years and are ready to see the same impact in the rest of Europe!

Responsibilities

• Create Marketing Content (Copy): Develop engaging and persuasive written content for various international marketing channels, including sales material, blogs, and newsletters.
• Create Marketing Content (Design): Support the creation of visually appealing graphics and materials for campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and creativity.
• Event Organization: Assist in planning and executing marketing events, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring they are well-organized and effectively promoted.
• Social Media and Performance Marketing: Support in planning, implementing, and optimising social media strategies and performance marketing campaigns to increase reach and conversion rates.

Our headquarters is in The Hague, and many creative ideas are best generated in real life collaboration. So it is useful if you can be at the office at least 1-2 days per week. We do have a remote friendly culture and in fact almost half the company works remote. So you will enjoy lots of freedom on where and when to do your work.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in marketing and communication.
• Ability to create creative and engaging content, both written and visual.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking
• Basic knowledge of social media strategies and performance marketing is an advantage, but not required.
• Team player with the willingness to collaborate with various departments.
• Fluent in either Dutch or German in speech and writing
