About the Role:

As a Full Stack React Developer at UltiMaker, you'll play a vital role in building and enhancing our flagship products, leveraging technologies like React, Drei, Three.js, and Fiber. From crafting responsive user interfaces to optimizing performance with Vite, your contributions will directly impact our global community of 3D printing enthusiasts. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing your expertise in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. Plus, with your knowledge of Git, Jira, and Scrum methodologies, you'll ensure smooth collaboration and efficient project delivery. 🌟

What You'll Be Doing:

Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement frontend features and functionalities.

Dive into our component-based architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability across our applications.

Utilize your knowledge of state management, props, and event handling to create seamless user experiences.

Explore the world of 3D scene manipulation, leveraging raycasting, linear algebra, and WebGL rendering techniques.

Actively participate in our scrum meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Embrace flexibility and adaptability, taking on new challenges and learning opportunities as they arise.

Showcase your communication and teamwork skills, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Take on a leadership role as a scrum-master, facilitating team meetings and guiding the team towards project success.

Working on projects that will involve contributing to open source but are not solely focused on it

Working on projects with tech stack that involves React, JavaScript, and potentially C++, without limiting it only to those technologies

What You Bring:

3 + years of experience with React

Proficiency in HTML, (S)CSS, and TypeScript

Familiarity with Git with a strong understanding of version control and issue tracking

Agile mindset with experience working in Scrum teams

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges

Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; “Mister Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”, with the ability to work effectively within a team

Passion for learning and continuous improvement, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends

Bonus Points:

Previous experience working in the 3D printing industry or related fields

Previous experience with Three.js and Vite

Knowledge of additional frontend frameworks or libraries, such as Angular or Vue.js

Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile showcasing your work

3D printing experience / knowledge

CAD (computer aided design) experience
