Our technology

The systems we build and maintain are crucial to support and automate the trade lifecycle of environmental commodities. We build solutions across the whole organization, involving the sales, operations, finance, marketing, and compliance teams, among others. Because of that, we have the opportunity to create direct impact through the technology we build.

Your responsibilities

You will be a part of multiple Scrum teams, working closely with developers, business analysts and product owners. Within each team, as a Scrum Master, you’ll be responsible for :

• Coaching team members through Scrum practises and establishing shared policies iteratively over time.

• Ensuring each User Story meets the Definition of Ready when entering a new Sprint, by guiding the team through refinement and estimation.

• Ensuring the Definition of Done is fulfilled when completing a task, by collaborating with stakeholders to validate deliverables with the development teams.

• Ensuring that tasks that are blocked during the Sprint get unblocked as soon as possible by communicating the reasons to the relevant team members.

• Making sure software Releases happen frequently and as soon as they are validated by business stakeholders.

• Organizing and hosting Scrum meetings: Stand-ups, Refinement sessions, Estimation Sessions, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospectives.

• Keep close communication with product owners, project managers and engineering managers to agree on processes and practises.

Your profile

• Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Software Engineering or a related field.

• 3+ years working with software development teams using a well-defined agile methodology

• Scrum certifications are a strong plus.

• Experience working concurrently with multiple agile teams and senior management is a plus.

• Affinity with finance is a plus, or other relevant work experience.

• Leadership skills or willingness to develop them.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• A good resource planner, who is highly organized.
