Digital Marketing Intern German Market

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Marketing team. As the Digital Marketing intern for the German Market, you will be assisting in owning and improving the marketing mix for our German Market. You will learn all about digital marketing aspects like content creation, performance marketing, SEO/SEA, and PR. Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?

This role of Digital Marketing intern for the German Market is based at our Amsterdam office and is a full-time (40 hours) position (32/36 hours can be discussed but full-time is preferred) starting around June/July 2024. We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from home or any location you want.

Please note: even though we are remote-friendly, we can only hire interns who are enrolled at an EU university and live in the Netherlands/are open to moving to the Netherlands and hold a Dutch citizen service number (BSN);

What this role looks like

As the Digital Marketing intern for the German Market, you will be responsible for helping grow our brand awareness and market share in the German Market. You will work closely with the whole marketing and be supervised by one of our Digital Marketing Specialists.

Some of your key tasks as Digital Marketing intern for the German Market

• Assisting in the ongoing localization of our global marketing strategies

• Translation & transcreation of articles, newsletters & other marketing texts

• Assisting in the creation of client case studies and video testimonials

• Optimizing email marketing campaigns for German audiences

• Assisting our SEO experts in optimizing our pages for the German market

• Assisting our SEA experts in optimizing their campaigns

• Assisting in PR to improve brand awareness in the German market

• Assisting in market research to optimize our localization approach

• Work closely with the Geram team for marketing insights, and get positive results as a team.

What you will bring to the Marketing team

• You’re a 3rd or 4th year student (HBO / WO) in the EU of a Business, Communication or Marketing program

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German (native)

• You know how to write for various audiences and different online channels

• You have experience with content marketing, SEO and/or SEA

• You are creative, motivated, a self-starter and passionate and you, of course, love writing!

• You are analytical and data-driven with an openness to change course as needed based on consistent measurement and tracking

The hiring process

The hiring process for this role consists of 2 interviews and a case that you will present in your second interview.
