Intern Information Security Admin

This role is at the center of our Holding team in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. We’ve got a mix of skills here, from Finance and Hospitality to Recruitment, People & Culture, and Marketing. JOB PURPOSE

As an Information Security Admin, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of information security. You will assist our Information Security team in administering and managing critical components of our industry best practice security certifications. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about managing and improving information security controls according to industry best practice standards.

Note: To be eligible for this internship, you must live and study in the Netherlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with information management in our Governance, Risk and Compliance system;
• Assist in developing, publishing, and maintaining information security awareness and training activities;
• Gaining experience on ISO/IEC 27001:2022 best practices through different projects;
• Taking initiative and implementing improvements in areas such as disaster recovery procedures, supplier security reviews, and threat intelligence reports.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You are pursuing a relevant degree in information/cyber security, compliance, or similar;
• You have basic (theoretical) familiarity with security principles and technologies such as mobile device management, VPN, and cloud security;
• You have an affinity with and/or interest in governance, risk and compliance;
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders;
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a keen interest in cybersecurity trends and best practices;
• You have a good mastery of English, both oral and written.
• Are available for a minimum of 4 days per week from September 2024 for 5-6 months.
