All about the role

As our Software Engineer: Fintech, you’ll play a vital part in our Fintech Services team working with world-class engineers responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that will help us fulfill our mission.

You’ll be working on our service, public APIs, internal core processes and logic, integrations between our platform and systems, and much more.

In this varied role, you’ll also be:

• Designing and developing scalable enterprise solutions using .NET technology.
• Working with product managers, QAs and other developers to implement new features or products.
• Troubleshooting bugs or making necessary fixes to existing products.
• Documenting design decisions and architectural approaches.
• Working closely with QA and Support teams to address bugs and improve the quality of products.
• Support the application post-launch.
• Participates in code reviews.
• Create/Assist in developing documentation.
• Creating unit/integration testing.
• Optimising applications to maximise speed and scalability, we build ultra-fast APIs.
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

Here’s what we’re looking for from our developer…

• 1 to 2 years of development experience
• Developing communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with C#, .Net, PHP technologies
• Familiarity with at least one database technology (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Basic experience with version control systems like GIT
• Basic understanding of Docker
• Awareness of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
