About this role:

The Consolidation Analyst based at the headquarters of Just Eat Takeaway.com in Amsterdam will be part of the Group Consolidation team, responsible for preparing and continuously improving the quality of the Group's consolidated financial reporting. This position requires collaboration with the Group Financial Control, Group Reporting, Commercial Finance, R2R, Tax and Finance Systems teams to ensure timely, accurate and complete group consolidation as well as contribution to financial reporting related projects and ad hoc questions/requests.

As the Consolidation Analyst your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monthly consolidation / analysis of group entities
• Contribution to an effective, accurate and qualitative monthly closing process
• Ensuring data quality and integrity from inputs to the ultimate consolidated products
• Preparation of main consolidated financial statements such as Profit or Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow on monthly basis
• Involvement in further automation of consolidation process by close interaction with Finance Systems team
• Support managing the monthly closing process across the group by proactively following up on outstanding reporting deliverables with internal stakeholders and frequently communicating statuses of closing activities

What will you bring to the table?

• Relevant background in accounting with a graduate/postgraduate degree (a professional qualification such as RA, ACCA, CA, CPA or similar is a plus)
• Relevant experience in an accounting, consolidation or group audit role
• Good level of MS Office (especially Excel) skills
• Experience with OneStream or similar consolidation system is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Team player who can effectively communicate across teams and multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and time management skills, great eye for detail
• Committed self-starter, proactive problem-solver and adaptive to change
