Supervisor Engine Installation

As Engineering Supervisor Engine Installation you lead, coach and develop a group of about 15-20 engineers. The team is part of the Chassis department and focusses on the installation of Engines in DAF vehicles (XD-XG or equivalent) including the Cooling System which is also used for eMotor, Batteries and various other components for BEV Vehicles. The work is diverse and can be both deeply technical and focused on developing the team in a changing environment.
Your positionAs Engineering Supervisor you directly report to the Engineering Manager Chassis. You will be part of a team of Supervisors (6 in total) working in this department and will play an active role in work balancing in this larger team. Your work is diverse and includes

• Building, managing, and motivating a highly talented, energetic, and knowledgeable team;
• Communication and cooperation with PACCAR internal stakeholders and external suppliers, incl. reporting towards management;
• Maintaining standards and roadmaps for Engine Installation, defining project scope items, and leading investigations into issues and opportunities;
• Resource, budget and planning forecasts and realization according project demands;
• Work according DFSS and DMAIC methodology realizing demands regarding functionality, durability, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability of technical scope;
• Pro-actively optimize existing, and develop new working processes;
• Knowledge expertise expansion to meet future legal and market demands including changing platforms (eg. Electrification, Hydrogen).
