Key Responsibilities:
- Offer the most optimal combination of service, pricing, and terms to our customers, in collaboration with sales.
- Collaborate with other Samskip Trade departments, with the aim of expanding our network and continuously optimizing our working methods.
- Monitor costs and reflecting this positively in our pricing.
- Report on P&L, growth, and results of your specific trade route.
- Expand operational activities, revenue, and business development.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential risks within the logistics industry.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique logistics requirements, and providing innovative solutions to meet their needs.
- Stay informed about and ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs procedures, and other relevant standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in trade management within the global logistics industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving continuous improvement.
