As a Business Analyst you are the link between business and IT within the Tribe Business Lending. In this challenging environment, you and your team focus on implementing the 'team purpose', where your contribution plays a crucial role in achieving the set goals/results, as well as in further developing yourself (and your team) as a professional.

You and your job

You will be responsible for closing the gap between the business and the Scrum team. You will be involved and take initiative in discussions with business partners, with the aim of formulating the desired changes to our applications. You also inform the business about what is and is not possible and you instruct the Scrum Team about what needs to be changed in the application. In addition, you help divide the 'change' into manageable task packages and coordinate your plans with architects and other teams.

Practical Examples

  • Discuss requirements with business teams and raise questions on any aspects that may have been missed or need clarification.
  • With the help of the data modelers of the tribe determine naming conventions for new fields in the data model and the API you are working on.
  • Determine the solution together with the functional solution architect, the team and external stakeholder.
  • Helping your team improve in the DevOps way of working, taking ownership to the team and share your business knowledge.

Facts & Figures

  • 36 or 40 hours per week.
  • Join 800+ colleagues within the Tribe Business Lending.
  • The Tribe makes sustainable initiatives possible, such as stimulating Sustainability and Innovation through discounts on financing through partnerships with, among others, the European Investment Bank.
  • 43,822 Rabobank colleagues around the world.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Working closely together with the Product Owner on defining and analysing the epics, features and user stories.
  • Support your DevOps squad on a function level in their development.
  • Collaborate with your DevOps squad for example to do test activities or analysing production issues.

This requires a specific and challenging mindset: the ability and willingness to take responsibility and the drive to continuously improve. Impact, persuasiveness, organizational sensitivity and cooperation are clearly essential for the role of a Business Analyst within the Tribe Business Lending.
