You and your job

As a Data Steward you are responsible for the daily execution of the operational processes in the Data Management. This includes a responsibility for a global data quality framework where you will translate information needs from data consumers to data suppliers. You goal is to make a difference in ensuring and improving the data quality within and outside the Tribe by developing and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders.

To achieve this, you combine vision and practical experience with master data management and business instinct. You have the skills and personality to act as an advisor and lead the way for your colleagues and guide them towards the goals you have agreed to achieve

Key tasks

  • Set up data quality and change framework for Global OpRisk data
  • Stakeholder management with data set owners working in different departments
  • Monitoring data quality
  • Tackle data related issues and work on global and cross functional change projects to improve our processes and systems.
  • Responsible for knowledge sharing across the area on the different elements of data management

You and your talent

  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs and maintain a customer-centric approach in data management practices.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate data management concepts and frameworks to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of using data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
  • Result-Driven: A results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and a commitment to enhancing data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Master Data Management Experience: Practical experience in master data management, including the development and implementation of data quality frameworks and change management processes.
  • Business Instinct: A keen business instinct, with an understanding of how data management impacts business operations and strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders across various departments, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and align diverse interests.
  • Leadership and Advisory Skills: Ability to act as both an advisor and a leader, guiding colleagues towards shared goals and managing a network of stakeholders involved in data management processes. This includes the capability to lead global and cross-functional change projects to improve data management systems and processes.

This is what we offer you

  • a gross monthly salary between €4.068,- and €5.811 (scale 9, 36 hours per week (40 hours possible)).
  • 13th month and holiday pay: as of January 1, 2023, the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
  • an Employee Benefit Budget (13% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
  • an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
  • a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
  • a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.

This is a selection of the terms of employment for a Data Steward based on a 36-hour working week
