What are you going to do?

Ensuring that the client’s data foundation is in perfect shape, that the client is in control of data quality and adaptive to future needs. That is the core of what we do within the Master Data Management discipline of Valcon Data. Driven. Fast. Together. From developing the vision to implementation and continuous support.

Within Valcon Data, our dedicated MDM team consists of a mix of project managers, business analysts, consultants, architects and developers, who have made this their speciality and who, together with the expertise from the wide Valcon community, ensure successful customer projects. Because the demand for a successful establishment of data foundation is very high, we want to expand the team, whereby expansion in all roles is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and communicating a vision on master data management
• Implementing the master data management solution
• Realising the organisational changes as part of the implementation
• Further developing the client’s data foundation
• Enabling the client to become adaptive to changes, for example, due to mergers and acquisitions, internationalisation or new regulations

Experience

• A completed quantitative Master’s degree – such as Computer Science, AI, (Applied) Mathematics, Econometrics, etc.
• At least 2 years of work experience within MDM
• Strong in a team with good communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with MDM tooling / platforms is a plus. At Valcon we work with several suppliers who we have chosen for their specific qualities. Think of IBM, Informatica, Profisee, Stibo Systems and Tibco.
• For developers knowledge of java, javascript and integration (API, JSON etc.) is an important foundation
• Fluent in Dutch and English
