Projects Engineer

What this position is about - Purpose

The incumbent will be Responsible for daily follow-up of onsite machine-related projects execution through daily follow-up of contractors’ performance as well as following up on onsite activities and progress. Ensuring quality and conformity to specifications, coordination of the execution activities with the safety, security, and other departments related to the activities, and administration of the site representatives in the site, monitoring & reports progress accordingly. Manage IACS Process, and EAM system and monitor all CAPEX-related projects to spend on time and within the approved budget.

What will you do – Responsibilities:

  • Full management of Technical related Projects from beginning to end, determine and define projects’ scope of work and deliverables and align on it.
  • Oversee, follow up, and direct projects from beginning to end Review and monitor the project in-depth.
  • Lead and ensure implementation of multiple projects within timely, budget, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage project Design, BOQ (Bill of quantity), tendering, selection, contracting, and claims Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach a profitable agreement.
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
  • Review and validate all production and quality change requests.
  • Find areas of improvement in all machines that help to increase OEE or reduce losses.
  • Continually assess production Investment requirements.
  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all technical processes, maintenance, safety codes, and JTI guidelines.
  • Manage the EAM system and monitor all CAPEX-related projects to spend on time and within the approved budget.
  • Lead and Manage IACS/Robustification process to insure safe, secure, and reliable operation of the industrial process.
  • Manage and mitigate the risks by creating/reviewing a detailed method of statements and risk assessments for each project and ensure compliance with JTI standards.
  • Contribute to achieving the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems, and ensure compliance with the code of conduct, legal & other requirements.

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

  • University Bachelor Degree In engineering (Mechanical, or electrical).
  • Excellent knowledge of Project management.
  • 3 - 4 years of relative Site Project management experience.
  • Experience in maintenance machines process and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD.
  • Excellent command of both Arabic & English Languages (spoken and written).
  • Advanced analytical skills, Data Analysis, and Reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments.
  • Strategic Thinking & Planning Skills.
