Rotterdam Area

The Rotterdam Botlek Site comprises refining, aromatics and lubes base stock facilities which are the most modern and environmentally friendly of its kind. Since being put into operation in 1960, the plant has undergone several significant renovations. The sizeable capital investments through the years have made the refinery ultra-efficient and flexible.

The Rotterdam Plasticizers & Intermediates Plant, the Rotterdam Oxo-alcohols Plant actually comprises three production facilities: the Rotterdam Oxo-Alcohol Plant in Europoort, the Phthalic Anhydride Plant and the Rotterdam Plasticizer Plant, which are both located in Rotterdam Botlek. It is the largest producer of plasticizers in Europe. The Pernis Lubricant Plant - or Lube Oil Blending Plant - produces various types of engine oil for cars and lubricants for industrial applications.

What role you will play in our team

In the Rotterdam Area we are offering job opportunities for graduate BSc Engineers in the area of Mechanical, Instrumentation & Controls, Civil and Electrical. In this role you ensure the operation of a manufacturing unit and work in close collaboration with our maintenance, process and engineering colleagues. You strive for optimal efficiency, cost effectiveness and operational safety. In this role you will ensure the reliability and mechanical Integrity of a manufacturing Unit.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Dutch or English languages skills: understanding, reading, writing and speaking
• Prepared to commit to further improve your Dutch or English languages skills.
• A current student or have recently completed university studies at least at BSc/HBO level.
• Education: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering.
• Analytical, driven, result-oriented and focused on getting the best out of yourself and your team.
