About the Internship

You will be part of the Human Resources team at one of our global offices located in Hoofddorp (NL). As the HR Intern, you will work side by side with the HR Advisor and the HR Project team at our Danone Place Amsterdam office located in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. During your internship you will be supervised by the HR Advisor. Your mission is to learn about and support in the day-to-day HR management activities and ongoing projects.

So, what will be your main tasks?

• Learn and contribute to the main HR processes — from Performance Review, Development Conversations, Annual Salary Review, etc.
• Coordinate and manage the Onboarding Process of new hires Coordinate the Offboarding Process of Hoofddorp interns and (partially) employees
• Support HR Advisor and the HR Project team
• Get to know the HR Business Partner role – taking responsibility for the intern population
• Support HR coordinators and other stakeholders – creating employee-related reports
• Be the first point of contact of ~40 interns – organizing activities and events for them Drive operational processes in diverse processes and projects supporting the HRBP team

Next to the above, you will be able to collaborate in local and global projects, and you are encouraged to come up with new ideas and bring them to life!

OVER JOU

We are looking for a Bachelor/Master student in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or any other related field. We expect you to be pro-active, enthusiastic and not afraid of a challenge. You are comfortable working in an international environment and can work both independently and in a team. You are a self-starter who’s not afraid to bring your own ideas and can work independently while still being a team-player. You prove to have great communications skills who likes to be in contact with many stakeholders. Furthermore, you are a data-driven person who has great Excel and PowerPoint skills (knowledge of Power BI is a plus!). Being flexible is key!

Additionally, you must meet the following requirements:

• Enrolled as a student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Available to start from August/ September 2024 for a minimum of 6 months, 4 to 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from Hoofddorp.

Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
