Director, Agile Operating Model

Job Description: Director, Agile Operating Model (LSEG-Microsoft Partnership) LSEG and Microsoft have entered an exciting strategic partnership for the development of next-generation data, analytics and cloud infrastructure solutions. The partnership will deliver against its ambitious objectives by adopting a Product-centric, Agile operating model in which we iteratively build solutions in close collaboration with our customers, and transparently connect team execution to our Product and strategic goals. The Agile Operating Model Director role will report directly into the Head of Product, Process and Organisation Transformation within the Data & Analytics Division of LSEG. The role will be responsible for defining the strategic operating model to support our Product-centric way of working, ensuring the right balance between consistency and flexibility, whilst building in mechanisms allowing it to evolve based on learning and continuous improvement. Main Responsibilities: • Create the Product and Agile blueprint and Partnership playbook covering new processes, roles & responsibilities, structures and cadences for how we develop our products end-to-end from ideation to in market • Own and continuously refine the playbook as we develop learnings via ‘test & learn’ approach • Define how the implementation and evolution of the operating model will be governed, and act as a lead in driving consistent adoption • Define how we will assess and measure maturity of the operating model across the Partnership • Ensuring that priority coaching, learning and supporting interventions are provided in order to progress maturity throughout the Partnership In this role, you will: • Influence people across the Partnership to help implement Product and Agile blueprint • Work closely with Microsoft to coalesce around an operating model that combines the best of both organisations • Help delivers new ways of working and enterprise agility across the Partnership, from the team level through to departmental level and beyond, to support us in end-to-end alignment across the organisation • Monitor effectiveness of the transformation journey and drive continuous improvement • Design outcomes and KPIs for the transformation programme and monitor them • Collaborate with scrum masters, agile coaches, Product and Technology leaders and senior leadership • Build relationships across the organisation and help drive and support the enterprise level drive for agility • Provide regular feedback regarding scope, roadblocks, concerns to your colleagues and key stakeholders Skills / experience required • Experience in a credible management consulting Firm - specifically agile, digital, product transformations • Excellent written and oral communication skill • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint & Excel • Ability to prioritise effectively and work with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Emotional intelligence, level-headed diplomat, skilled listener and clear communicator • Patient, persistent, optimistic, self-motivated and determined; results driven and goal oriented • Critical thinking, problem solving and lateral thinking skills • Quick learner LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
