Dit is jouw rol

As a Data Steward, you take ownership of how data behaves across our operational systems within the digital supply chain. You work with data that directly reflects how parcels move through our international network. You ensure data is complete, consistent and reliable so that teams can use it every day. You analyse issues, find the root cause and make sure they are solved in a structured way. In doing so, you help improve monitoring, reporting and decision-making across the organisation.

You also bring structure to how data flows across systems and teams. You set up dashboards, monitoring and alerts that support daily operations and make issues visible early. You work closely with both business and IT stakeholders and act as the bridge between them. You challenge decisions when needed and help align stakeholders. At the same time, you contribute to improving data governance, data products and documentation across the operational environment.

You will join the Digital Supply Chain team within Cross Border Solutions (CBS). This part of our organisation focuses on international logistics, where we manage how parcels and data move across borders. In this team, business and IT work closely together to improve how data flows through our international network. The team is international, collaborative and focused on continuous improvement. Together, you work on making data reliable and usable, so our operations run smoothly every day.

You also have the following qualities:

  • You have a higher vocational or university degree.
  • You understand data concepts and data quality principles.
  • You have experience with data analysis and queries.
  • You understand how systems interact and how data flows between them.
  • You have strong communication skills in English.
