As the Junior Office Manager, you play a crucial role in managing day-to-day office operations, company events and contributing to the entire team members' lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding).

Your role

  • You’ll manage and be the face of our brand-new office! You take ownership of our office environment by handling day-to-day administrative tasks to keep the office clean and running smoothly (kitchen supplies, mail, meeting coordination, etc.), coordinating with vendors, and managing inventory. You are the person who notices what’s off before anyone else does, to ensure the space is always in good shape.
  • We’ll need your creativity to organise internal company events, assist with external events and manage our monthly HR newsletter. You’ll come up with ideas for how to bring people together, manage logistics, and make sure the experience reflects our culture.
  • You will initiate every team member’s lifecycle by serving as their first point of contact and will continue by handling a range of administrative tasks. From maintaining accurate people data to drafting HR documents, executing HR processes and administering benefits.

In essence, your role will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless administrative support and fostering a positive work environment.

Your team

You will join our People Ops department that consists of 9 team members, which includes HR, Recruitment, IT, and Office Management. We work closely with each other, in order to make the team member's journey from recruitment to HR and through the lifecycle as great as we can, providing an incredible experience! We value a high level of ownership, autonomy, teamwork and a results-oriented mindset.

Your profile

  • Up to 2 years of experience in office management; HR administrative experience is a plus (internship experience is also sufficient).
  • You have a proactive, hands-on approach to taking on last-minute tasks and supporting colleagues in urgent situations.
  • You have excellent attention to detail, ensuring that all internal processes and procedures are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • You have strong organisational and administrative skills for managing our physical workspace and prioritising multiple tasks effectively and in a timely manner.
  • You have strong communication skills and an excellent customer-focused mindset for internal and external stakeholders, especially people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent team player who collaborates with colleagues towards shared goals.
  • You have a growth mindset; you enjoy learning about best practices for people process and positive workplace experiences, and you are open to feedback to grow further in your career.
  • You are proficient in data entry and management and have a basic level of knowledge of Google Workspace, with an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
