Financial Services Intern

As a Global Business Services Intern at IDEXX, you will be at the heart of financial and order processing operations as part of the European Finance Business Operations Team, responsible for accurate, timely and compliant order entry, checks and processing for 21 countries.

In this role

The Global Business Services Team at IDEXX is responsible for processing and managing all orders and service contracts within EMEA. This involves billing adjustments, product returns, rebates, discounts and special pricing, and you will have contact with several internal stakeholders. You will work directly with IDEXX Sales professionals, the Marketing Department and Finance to ensure smooth and compliant order flows.

Customer orders that come in through SAP or one of many mailboxes for capital products, standing orders and service contracts are your responsibility. Our products are in high demand, and the volume of orders requires the successful candidate to excel in speed and accuracy. You are tech savvy, have an eye for detail, can prioritize your workload and work well with a range of different stakeholders.

What You Will Need to Succeed

We are looking for a Business Management student with a Finance or Business focus, a love for numbers, good communication skills and the ability to multitask.

• You are available for an internship from July or August 2026 for a duration of six months.
• As we work in an international environment, fluency in English is key, both written and verbal.
• Being assertive, taking initiative and being able to work independently.
• You enjoy working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
• You are a strong user of MS Office and especially Excel.
• You have the ability to work alone and in a team, and you are self-motivated and solutions driven within a changing, fast-paced environment.
• You possess a professional attitude, have attention to detail and are eager to learn.
• You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
• High ethical standards.

Some practical aspects

• You are available to start in January or February 2026 and can work with us for 6 months full-time.
• You need to be enrolled as a student toward attaining a degree to be eligible for this internship and to secure university approval to start the assignment. If you are not a European national, you will also need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement.
• Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station. This internship will be in a hybrid format with a requirement to work a minimum of two days from the office, with the remaining days remote.
