At a glance

We are looking for a senior FI Lending specialist to join the FI Specialised Lending product unit within Financing Solutions (FS), part of Corporate Banking (CB).

Your job

As an FI Lending specialist you are responsible for our commercial proposition, structuring and execution of Structured Lending products to (inter)national FI clients. Together with colleagues of client coverage you take care of the origination and the client dialogue.

Your work includes negotiating and preparing tailor-made commercial client propositions, structuring lending products, drafting credit applications, executing deals, including coordination with external advisors, negotiating financing documents with the client and monitoring the existing lending portfolio.

Financial Institutions is a sector with a global footprint in CB. Controlled growth and consolidation of international expansion in (North-West) Europe is an important theme for FI. Lending is a key product that enables international growth of FI. FI Specialised Lending (FISL), consisting of 19 Lending Specialists based in Amsterdam and London, is looking for a new colleague in the Securitisation Lending (SL) team.

The SL team delivers private (warehouse) securitisations backed by mortgages, auto loans/leases, trade finance receivables and other consumer finance assets to FI and Corporate clients. The SL team works closely together with the Secured Debt Capital Markets team for clients that issue public ABS transactions.

FISL acts as a centre of credit expertise and is the first line of defence for FI clients. The team is transaction-oriented, result- and knowledge-driven with a great deal of teamwork and strong empowerment of individual responsibilities.

Your profile

You’re an undisputed team player, eager to learn and with a clear ambition to further develop yourself as a Securitisation specialist. You are analytical, proactive, detail-oriented and, above all, commercially driven. You are a networker with good stakeholder management skills, capable of managing an external relationship network (clients, advisors, lawyers) and an internal network (Risk, ALM, Legal, DCM, Finance).

We are looking for a professional with:

• Minimal [>10] years of credit experience to wholesale clients
• Experience in Securitisation or an affiliated product
• Knowledge of relevant market developments, Basel III Securitisation framework, Basel IV, and accountancy guidelines
• Analytical skills with advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and commercial skills
• Relevant Master’s degree
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written / verbal)
