Credit Portfolio Manager bij NN

Als Credit Portfolio Manager bij Nationale-Nederlanden (NN) maak je deel uit van het Public Markets team binnen de grootste verzekeraar en toonaangevende asset owner in de Benelux. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor onze fixed-income portefeuille en draagt bij aan het verduurzamen van NN’s operating capital. Met jouw sterke relatievaardigheden beheer je één grote externe asset manager en werk je samen met diverse interne en externe stakeholders, met focus op wat echt belangrijk is voor onze klanten.

What you are going to do

In this role, you will manage a broad range of fixed income asset categories and support the delivery of sustainable returns from our externally managed mandates. You will critically evaluate both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of external managers. Furthermore, you will play a key role in reviewing processes and analysing the performance and philosophies of various mandates. You are taking responsibility for the operating capital generation of the General Account, providing insights into market developments and identify new opportunities within the Public Markets universe and participate in investment meetings with internal and external stakeholders. And not the least you are contributing to the further integration of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) into the investment process.

As an experienced investment professional, you combine strong analytical skills and a critical mindset with excellent communication abilities to ensure your team delivers on its commitments. You can manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively without being easily influenced. With a sense of dedication, attention to detail, and accuracy, you take ownership of your responsibilities. You are continuously seeking ways to learn, grow, and improve processes while being open to feedback. Additionally, you have:

  • A relevant academic degree and at least 7 years of experience in financial markets and asset management
  • A proven track record in financial markets with in-depth knowledge of all major fixed-income asset classes
  • Expertise in monitoring and evaluating mandates within the Public Markets universe
  • Experience or an affinity with institutional asset management
  • Experience in sustainability
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written) to work effectively in a diverse, international environment

You will be part of the Public Markets team responsible for monitoring and evaluating externally managed strategies, within the NN Group Investment Office (NNIO).
