Your mission

Within this role, you sit at the very start of our commercial engine. You spot opportunities, engage clients, and help shape the deals that drive our growth.

Yes, part of your work happens behind your desk, but this role goes far beyond researching LinkedIn or making calls. You get out there, engage with decision-makers, challenge perspectives, and open doors that others don’t. You’re not just feeding the pipeline….you’re creating it.

You take ownership, follow up relentlessly, and turn conversations into real opportunities. You’re energized by progress, not just activity. This role is for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, compete, and make visible impact. This is not just a role; it’s a growth path. You’ll start in Business Development (±2 years), then be coached into the Sales Executive track (±2 years), moving from supporting deals to owning and closing them yourself..

So what will that look like, in bullets?

  • Proactively identify and engage target organizations, building a strong and sustainable pipeline across manufacturing and supply chain industries.
  • Initiate conversations through outbound channels (including calls, LinkedIn, email, and events) and convert interest into qualified opportunities.
  • Explore creative approaches to outreach, finding ways to stand out and build genuine connections with prospects.
  • Attend and contribute to industry events, using them as an opportunity to build relationships and create momentum.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders, learning how to navigate organizations and engage at different levels.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to align messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies.
  • Take ownership of your pipeline while maintaining clear structure, visibility, and progression.

Your profile

  • A commercial mindset and strong interest in business development and sales
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships easily
  • Proactive attitude; you take ownership and don’t wait for things to happen
  • Curiosity and drive to understand client challenges and translate them into opportunities
  • Resilience and energy; you enjoy working in a dynamic, target-driven environment
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (or strong motivation to start a commercial career)
  • Exposure to, or interest in, manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments is an advantage.
  • Dutch speaking on C2 level, but also proficient in English (reading, writing, listening at least on C1 level)
  • You don’t see this as “a job”, but as the start of a commercial career.
