This senior strategic role is responsible for driving large‑scale, end‑to‑end planning transformation, including deployment of best-in-class digital solutions and AI across the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). This leader translates global executive vision into actionable programs, orchestrates cross‑functional delivery, and ensures measurable impact on competitiveness, resilience, and margin performance. The role operates with broad decision latitude, shaping program scope, timelines, resource allocation, and implementation strategy while maintaining transparency and alignment with senior leadership.

Your role

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision Translation

  • Converts global executive direction and functional strategy into high‑impact, locally executable transformation plans.
  • Establishes and continuously refines KPIs, ROI tracking, and performance governance across all transformation workstreams to track and ensure value realization in line with the business case.

Program Ownership & Delivery

  • Leads complex, multi‑disciplinary programs or portfolio of medium size projects, ensuring end‑to‑end integration and delivery of defined outcomes.
  • Develops and manages comprehensive and detailed program plans, including milestones, resource strategies, risk mitigation, and issue escalation.
  • Oversees program performance and interdependencies across connected projects to ensure alignment, minimizing and mitigating risks, and securing on‑time realization of benefits.

Cross‑Functional Orchestration

  • Interacts with multiple businesses, markets, functions, and knowledge centers inside and outside Philips to coordinate and manage comprehensive program activities effectively.
  • Directs cross‑functional task forces without executive authority, enabling seamless collaboration across businesses, markets, and functions including but not limited to IT.

Capability Building & Mentorship

  • Formally mentors high‑potential project managers and analysts to strengthen organizational transformation capability within the ISC.

Stakeholder Communication & Change Enablement

  • Crafts and deliver a cohesive narrative of program value and progress for executive and enterprise‑wide communication.
  • Aligns diverse stakeholder groups around transformation objectives, ensuring shared understanding of priorities, scope, and expected outcomes.
  • Facilitates effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring transparency, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining program momentum.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, ensuring timely communication, transparent progress updates, and rapid resolution of concerns.

Quality Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensures strict adherence to regulatory requirements and Philips’ internal quality standards by embedding best practices into all facets of supply chain program management, maintaining compliance and upholding Philips’ commitment to excellence.
  • Champions and promotes a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, knowledge and best practice sharing across teams within the program and across the organization.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Supply Chain or other relevant fields.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or equivalent in complex value chains.
  • Proven track record with at least 5 years in program management, transformation leadership, or a related role, particularly in successful digital planning implementations.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple related projects across domains to achieve strategic objectives, oversee interdependencies and aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Expertise in planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling complex programs or project portfolios to achieve specific goals within constraints such as time, budget, and scope.
  • Excellent experience in managing difficult stakeholders across different domains incl. senior leadership.
  • Excel in problem-solving, being able to create a clear problem statement and analyze complex issues in a structured way. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost management.
  • Excellent understanding of and hands-on experience with advanced digital planning solutions.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
