GBS Credit Controller UK-IE

As a credit controller at IDEXX, you will find yourself in a pivotal position to ensure the cash inflow for IDEXX within EMEA. Along with your six colleagues who speak a combined 10 languages, you will be in daily contact with a full range of customers including veterinary customers, large corporations, and government entities. As a credit controller, you will work on numerous continuous process improvements as you develop into a subject matter expert. We are looking for someone to join us on a hybrid basis in our Hoofddorp EMEA Headquarters.

In this Role

• You will be focusing on the markets of the United Kingdom and Ireland, requiring an ability to communicate fluently in English. Any other European language would help support the larger team.

• You may experience challenging customers requiring your support to develop a payment plan or resolve a dispute. You will need to be comfortable in this environment, able to problem solve, and develop creative solutions.

• You will pull metrics, reports, direct debit runs, and support monthly closing activities.

• You will collaborate successfully with other departments within IDEXX and add to a great experience for our customers.

What you need to Succeed

• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related study.

• You have at least two years of relevant working experience as a credit controller.

• You have technical savvy, are familiar with SAP, and have a solid understanding of Excel.

• You are adept at dealing with pressure, have flexibility, and have an eye for detail. You should be able to showcase these skills from your previous work experiences.

• You are an effective communicator with strong negotiating and organizational skills that will set you up for success in this job.

• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and MS Teams.

• You have a high level of accuracy and the ability to work effectively and independently.

• You are a team player with great communication skills and attention to detail.

• You can deal with changing priorities and challenges.

• You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn, and take and receive feedback constructively.

• You possess high ethical standards and a positive attitude.
