Product Owner (Finance)

Als Product Owner (Finance) voor Finance- en Asset Management Systems binnen Landal’s Technology Organisation speel je een centrale rol in het mogelijk maken van financiële controle, transparantie en efficiëntie binnen onze hospitality-operatie. Je beheert en vertegenwoordigt de lifecycle van ons finance- en asset management-ecosysteem, waaronder NetSuite ERP en gerelateerde integraties met PMS-, HR-, Procurement- en Reporting-systemen.

Het Finance & Asset Management-domein is fundamenteel voor Landal’s succes en ondersteunt accurate rapportage, compliance en de financiële ruggengraat waarmee onze resorts kunnen floreren. Je werkt binnen een complex netwerk van SaaS-applicaties en serviceproviders en zorgt dat oplossingen blijven aansluiten op veranderende business- en regelgevingseisen.

Als brug tussen business requirements, technologische mogelijkheden en vendor roadmaps bewaak je de strategische richting en operationele gezondheid van deze systemen. Je zorgt dat productverbeteringen meetbare business value leveren en waar vendor-beperkingen bestaan, leid je improvement requests, change management en budget approval-processen.

Over de baan

Je bent de Product Owner verantwoordelijk voor de digitale producten die onze kernfinanceprocessen (Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay en Record‑to‑Report) binnen de organisatie mogelijk maken, inclusief het finance Shared Service Centre.

Je missie is het leveren van een efficiënte, gestandaardiseerde, geautomatiseerde en goed gecontroleerde financiële operatie via systemen zoals NetSuite, OneStream en ondersteunende applicaties. Je bent eigenaar van de productvisie, roadmap en value delivery voor Finance Systems, en zorgt dat technologie closing cycles versnelt, compliance versterkt, handmatig werk vermindert en schaalbaarheid ondersteunt.

Wat je gaat doen

Own the Finance Systems Product Vision & Roadmap;

• Define and maintain a clear product vision aligned with Finance leadership, SSC operations, and business strategy;
• Build and prioritise a roadmap focused on automation, standardisation, data quality, compliance, and cycle‑time reduction;
• Translate finance requirements into actionable, value‑based product backlog items.

Drive Excellence in Core Finance Processes (OTC, P2P, R2R);

• Ensure systems effectively support and continuously improve (OTC, P2P, R2R);
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, driving automation and redesign where required;
• Enable consistent, standardised processes across countries, business units, and SSC teams.

Ensure High Performing Finance Platforms (NetSuite, OneStream & Others);

• Own the operational health, configuration, integrations, and lifecycle of NetSuite ERP, OneStream, and adjacent finance systems;
• Maintain reliable data flows across PMS, HR, Procurement, reporting, and other platforms;
• Lead issue resolution, vendor collaboration, release management, and change control;
• Evaluate new capabilities and system improvements that reduce manual work and increase control.

Stakeholder Partnership & Requirements Management;

• Act as the primary interface between Finance, SSC, Technology, vendors, and process owners;
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and turn process needs into clear system enhancements;
• Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and decisions using transparent product governance;
• Ensure solutions meet audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Wie je bent

• 6–8 years of experience in Product Ownership, Project Management, or Application Management in Finance, Accounting, or Asset Management Systems;
• Proven experience in SaaS or ERP product management, ideally with NetSuite ERP (Finance, Procurement, Fixed Assets, or Reporting modules);
• Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting processes, and compliance frameworks (IFRS, SOX, GDPR);
• Experience managing and mentoring Business Analysts;
• Background in hospitality, leisure, or multi-entity operational environments is highly desirable;
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and third-party development teams;
• Skilled in backlog prioritisation, requirements management, and agile delivery practices (Jira, Confluence, ADO);
• Fluent in English; Dutch or German proficiency is a plus.
