At Chordify we’re looking for a UX researcher with 3+ years of experience to come join our team.

About the job

Our mission at Chordify is to make it as easy as possible for musicians of all skill levels to learn to play their favorite music.

As a UX researcher at Chordify you help us empathize with musicians around the world. You deeply understand their struggles and “wow” moments as they play the songs they love with Chordify.

You

  • Have 3+ years of experience in UX research, User research or a related field

  • Are genuinely curious about people—their behaviors, needs, and motivations

  • Have a proactive and creative attitude towards advocating for the user throughout the organization

  • Can clearly communicate insights to different audiences, making research accessible and actionable

  • Feel comfortable facilitating workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Have experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods (e.g. usability testing, interviews, surveys, journey mapping, diary studies, market research)

  • Can analyze research data and translate it into meaningful insights and recommendations

  • Are familiar with tools such as Hotjar, Survicate, Userlytics or anything similar

  • Have experience with specific frameworks like jobs-to-be-done, the lean start up method, design thinking, continuous discovery habits (or are excited to learn)

  • Are located in the Netherlands

We

  • Are a bunch of friendly, open, always caring people, from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds

  • Think that it is equally important to take care of yourself as it is to take care of your work

  • Are constantly learning, adapting, and improving

  • Do not believe in autocratic leadership but in working as a team of equals through mutual support, trust, and transparency

  • Use Agile principles in most of our day-to-day work

  • Love music!

You will

  • Help musicians around the world play the music they love, their way

  • Drive product decisions by uncovering user needs and translating them into clear opportunities

  • Lead end-to-end UX research projects, from shaping questions to delivering actionable insights

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to turn insights into real impact

You get

  • A gross monthly salary of €3500 to €5000 (excluding 8% yearly holiday allowance) depending on your skills, expertise, and experience

  • A team-wide result-dependent bonus of up to 10% of your yearly salary

  • A personal budget each year to spend on anything music related

  • A pension scheme

  • To work at either our Utrecht or Groningen office and, if you want, partially from home

  • Flexible working hours

  • Commuting expenses reimbursed

  • To take part in our lease bike program

  • To focus on your mental health through OpenUp

  • Free lunch, snacks, and drinks at the office

  • After-work drinks, jam-sessions, or gaming nights in the office with fellow Chordifyers whenever you feel like it

  • To trade public holidays for other days that are important to you

  • To be part of an international team of music lovers
