About Wakuli

We love great coffee. That’s why we’re building an alternative coffee industry that actually works. For both farmers and consumers.

How? By working directly with farmer groups around the world. We set up transparent, traceable export lines, roast the beans ourselves and sell the coffee straight to customers. So no unnecessary middlemen or resellers. Those short supply chains make sure farmers always get a good price.

You’ll find us in 20 (and counting) bars across the Netherlands, and online through our own platform. For customers, that means freshly roasted specialty coffee that’s easy to access, relatively affordable and just seriously delicious.

We are building the new coffee brand of the 21st century with a team of like-minded innovators from all over the world. And we’re looking for you.

Your role

We’re looking for someone who knows how to make beautiful, scroll-stopping video content and that will run our socials like it’s their own. A creative that loves to work hard, knows how to handle a lot of freedom (and uses that for the best possible outcomes), but also keeps an eye on the numbers to make sure our socials actually grow.

What you’ll do

  • Come up with original concepts for Instagram and Tiktok.
  • Shoot and edit video content. In and around our coffee bars, in the roastery, with our team, or with strangers in the wild (no chance to be shy here!).
  • Manage our social media like it’s your own, but better: you’ll make the planning, you’ll post, respond and keep it alive and kicking.
  • Track performance and tweak based on data (because yes, views and followers matter too).
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to keep everything on brand and in line with Wakuli vision and story.

You

  • Are a creative with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
  • Know how to shoot and edit video, fast and beautifully (yes, CapCut works just fine for quick and snappy vids).
  • Understand what works online: what people watch, share, skip or save.
  • Don’t mind reaching out to strangers to ask if they can be on camera.
  • Have a portfolio (or an Instagram, Vimeo account, or anything else with moving images) that you can share with us.
  • Have worked at a brand or an agency before. You get how fast things move and how to keep up without losing the fun.
  • Are not afraid of targets. We believe creatives can and should perform. You'll have clear (and fun) goals: reach, views, save and follower growth. And the freedom to test, learn and try again.
