Within our Business Unit Intralogistics, we focus on taking automation in warehouses and distribution centers to the next level. In a market where speed, efficiency, and flexibility are increasingly important, we use automated robots and vision technology to make logistics processes smarter, faster, and more efficient.

As a Supply Chain Engineer, your biggest challenge is to continuously adapt in a dynamic environment. You play a key role in the procurement and production of parts for projects, working closely with engineering, project management, and production from start to delivery.

You manage lead times for components, monitor progress, process orders in the ERP system, and maintain contact with various suppliers. In addition, you support the resolution of quality issues and actively contribute to process improvements. You use data to optimize processes and propose improvements in systems or working methods.

The projects you work on require flexibility, quick decision-making, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You contribute to both design choices and manufacturability and think beyond your own scope within projects. You also support colleagues at other locations and are willing to occasionally assist on-site abroad.

What do we expect?

• A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in a technical field, with a strong affinity for technology;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, including knowledge of ERP systems;
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, working with stakeholders and international colleagues;
• An entrepreneurial, proactive, and hands-on attitude; accurate and able to prioritize effectively;

This will be your day

8:00 You start your day by planning your tasks. You have full freedom in this, while keeping priorities in mind.

10:00 While preparing a project, you receive a call from the assembly line requesting an urgent part. You coordinate with Engineering and contact the supplier to arrange a solution.

13:00 You attend a project start-up meeting, presenting delivery timelines and ensuring all components will arrive on time. You discuss critical parts and keep all stakeholders aligned.

15:00 You discuss a component’s lead time with the project manager. Unfortunately, it is too long, so you quickly arrange an alternative supplier.

16:30 The day flies by! You head home feeling accomplished.
