Client Rep Offshore Wind

In this role as Client Representative Offshore Wind, you play a key role offshore as the eyes and ears of Ecowende, safeguarding safety, quality and compliance during critical operations. You work at one of the most innovative and nature‑inclusive offshore wind farms in the Netherlands, operating in a 14/14 offshore rotation where technical insight, stakeholder alignment and operational leadership come together.

What you’ll do

As Client Representative Offshore Wind, you represent Ecowende and the wind farm’s asset owners during offshore operations. You ensure that all work is performed safely, in line with contractual requirements and within legal frameworks.

Working from a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation, you maintain oversight of day‑to‑day activities on deck and ensure seamless coordination between offshore teams and onshore operations. You identify risks, monitor progress and quality, and help maintain the integrity of the assets.

You act as the direct operational link between contractors, vessel crews, marine coordination and internal stakeholders. You translate observations into clear reporting, share lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of offshore execution standards.

You are an experienced offshore professional who naturally prioritises safety, quality and collaboration. You are comfortable operating in dynamic environments and thrive in roles where operational awareness and clear communication are essential. With an eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility, you navigate complex marine or wind operations with confidence. You know how to influence stakeholders at different levels and contribute to the smooth and safe execution of offshore work.

Furthermore you have:

• Bachelor’s‑level working and thinking ability, preferably in a technical or maritime discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in offshore wind, marine operations or comparable heavy‑industry environments.
• Strong understanding of HSSE principles and contractual working environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written.
• You must already reside in the Netherlands.

Please note: the salary range for this role does not meet the Dutch minimum income requirement for a high‑skilled migrant visa. Visa sponsorship is therefore not possible.

You’ll be responsible for

• Representing Ecowende and asset owners during offshore activities.
• Ensuring compliance with HSSE requirements, RAMS, permits and contractual obligations.
• Monitoring quality, operational progress and asset integrity.
• Identifying, documenting and escalating deviations and risks.
• Coordinating with the Control Center, marine partners, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Gross annual salary between €78.000 and €109.000

Hybrid working: home, office or abroad
