We are recruiting a Communication Officer – Events Coordinator (FGIV) for the “Safety, Security, Site Development and Engagement” Unit within the Directorate for Ispra Site Management, Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Management.

The current vacancy is with “Safety, Security, Site Development and Engagement” Unit of the Directorate for Ispra Site Management, Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Management.

The Unit has the mission to develop and ensure a safe, secure and environmentally sustainable working environment at the Ispra site and to manage a reliable emergency response service. The Unit assists the site Director in managing the institutional relations with external stakeholders and partners, and manages all events associated. It supports the Director in ensuring the alignment of the Site Development with the Corporate JRC objectives aiming at making the Ispra site a modern and attractive place to work.

We offer an exciting job position in dynamic work environment as conference and event coordinator. S(he) will assist the team leader and play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-profile events aiming at increasing the visibility of the JRC, in line with the JRC strategy, in coordination with other JRC and Commission services.
