As a DevOps Engineer, you help keep Rabobank’s communication platform running at scale, supporting over 30 million messages per month.

You & your role

Design and maintain the cloud foundations of Rabobank’s large‑scale customer communication platform. As a DevOps Engineer – AKS, you work on a platform that delivers 10 million PDFs and 20 million emails per month, keeping services available 24/7 in a highly automated Azure environment. You collaborate in an Agile squad where reliability, performance, and security come together in every deployment.

• Develop and optimise secure cloud‑native pipelines that automate end‑to‑end deployment workflows across multiple environments following best practices and compliance standards.
• Strengthen, monitor, and maintain high‑availability cloud infrastructure by implementing proactive observability measures and robust automation strategies across critical components.
• Enhance and secure large‑scale Kubernetes workloads by applying advanced networking, governance, and resilience patterns to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

You operate in an Agile squad within Customer Engagement, collaborating with engineers, analysts, and product teams to ensure stable, scalable communication services. Your work directly supports a high‑availability platform that underpins communication with millions of customers each month.

You & your talent

• 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud and AKS, including containerised workloads.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps and software deployment pipelines.
• Eager to learn new techniques.
• Skilled in advanced Agile teamwork.
• Strong communicator in English (Dutch is a pre).
• Collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary scrum teams.
• Continuously strives for improvement.
• Takes ownership of build, run and change processes.
