Interim Business Controller at a Higher Education Institution

This interim assignment is for a Business Controller at an internationally oriented higher education institution in the Randstad (start immediately; 3 months with chance of extension).

About the department

A total of 50 employees work in the Finance Department, including 9 in the Controlling Services department. The culture within the service is informal. Controlling Services professionals meet on site at least once a week to share knowledge and exchange experiences.

Assignment

The main areas of focus in this assignment are:

• Being a business partner for 2 Directorates, including Research
• Being a “critical friend” when setting up new initiatives
• Responsible for the P&C cycle for your assigned units

Who are we looking for?

• Several years of relevant work experience as a business controller
• Knowledge of and experience with 2e & 3e cash flows
