Are you energized by solving complex business challenges, shaping enterprise-wide systems, and driving impactful digital transformation, while partnering closely with stakeholders across multiple countries?

For our Global Business Services (GBS) division, Wolters Kluwer is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join us in Alphen aan de Rijn or Deventer!

About Wolters Kluwer

Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information, software solutions, and services for legal, tax, finance, and compliance professionals. Within our Global Business Services (GBS) Enterprise Software Engineering organization, you will join a diverse and international team of architects, business analysts, functional experts, and engineers.

You will report to the Service Delivery Manager and work closely with colleagues supporting several SAP landscapes, including our ongoing transitions toward SAP S/4HANA. The team is collaborative, supportive, and works on long-term, business-critical initiatives in the Benelux region with high visibility across the organization.

About the role

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you are the vital link between business needs and technology delivery. You translate complex requirements into clear, workable solutions and play a central role in our SAP S/4HANA migration program. This is a highly impactful role within a rapidly evolving systems landscape, where your expertise helps shape the future of our enterprise applications.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with business owners to proactively identify future needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze, model, and optimize end-to-end business processes across multiple business units.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP, Salesforce, and related enterprise systems.
  • Drive prioritization of change requests and manage external suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead workshops, design sessions, and requirement-mapping activities.
  • Support and advise stakeholders—including BPOs, Finance, O2C, P2P managers, architects, and project managers—on best practices and system capabilities.
  • Contribute to SAP S/4HANA migration activities, including requirements mapping, functional alignment, testing support, and process re-design.
  • Act as the point of contact for system integrations and cross-system processes.
  • Prepare functional releases and coordinate with CAB members.
  • Ensure successful adoption and operational embedding of new functionalities.
  • Drive improvements in the change-management cycle and champion innovation opportunities.

What makes this role interesting?

You will:

  • Work on a major SAP S/4HANA migration, influencing the future state of enterprise systems across multiple countries.
  • Be part of a highly complex and dynamic environment—perfect for analytical thinkers who thrive on solving challenging business puzzles.
  • Experience never-a-dull-moment work with a mix of projects, changes, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enjoy high autonomy and creative freedom to shape solutions and propose new ways of working.
  • Join a collaborative team that helps you ramp up quickly, with strong peer support and space to develop.

Your profile

  • 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst supporting multiple business units.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably SAP S/4HANA migration or integration experience). Experience with SAP User Role Management is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in requirement mapping, stakeholder management, and change management.
  • Strong experience writing functional requirements and managing workshops or design sessions.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in English. Dutch proficiency is a plus.

What we offer

  • A permanent contract in a global, future-focused organization.
  • A full-time role (36 hours/week) with hybrid working possibilities (2 office days per week).
  • A flexible, supportive, and international work environment.
  • Opportunities for learning, development, and career growth.
  • A collaborative team where knowledge sharing, autonomy, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

If you’re excited about shaping enterprise systems that support thousands of professionals across Europe and you enjoy working on complex, high-impact projects, we’d love to hear from you.
