At Karsten International, we are looking for a hands-on Graphic Designer who knows how to turn physical products into powerful ecommerce visuals. You understand that great product content is not just about design — it’s about creating realistic, convincing product situations that increase conversion.

In this role, you will combine AI-generated elements, photography, and high-end Photoshop editing to create lifelike product environments, strong USP visuals, and high-performing listing content for platforms such as Amazon, bol.com, and our branded webshops.

Your mission at Karsten International is to translate products and marketing goals into compelling visual stories that sell. You will write clear and structured design briefs in close collaboration with our ecommerce team and ensure brand consistency across all outputs. You’ll translate marketing goals into creative concepts for online campaigns, newsletters, and digital ads.

Together with ecommerce, you will contribute to a smooth workflow by managing planning, feedback loops, and delivery with ease. Staying ahead of the curve, you keep up to date with ecommerce content trends, design best practices, and platform requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of visual content for physical products across ecommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, bol.com, branded shops).
  • Guide the graphic and video design team to understand internal briefs and translate them into attractive creatives.
  • Write clear, structured design briefs in collaboration with the e-commerce team.
  • Actively work on design projects, comfortably taking on the most challenging ones.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity across all outputs.
  • Translate marketing objectives into creative concepts for online campaigns, newsletters, and digital ads.
  • Together with the ecommerce team, contribute to a smooth workflow: planning, feedback loops, and delivery.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of ecommerce and marketing assets.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects).
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce content needs (e.g., product photography editing, lifestyles, USP-images, email banners, and other marketing materials).
  • Ability to convert marketing input into creative direction and briefing documents.
  • Experience combining AI-generated elements with real photography.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics, layout, and messaging.
  • A proactive communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams.
